Hyun Jung Ji (b. South Korea) is an artist currently residing in Seoul. She received formal training as a painter at the Art Centre College of Design in Pasadena where she began to develop her unique style of illustration. After working in Los Angeles, she moved to Seoul to continue her artistic journey.
Hyun’s works are inspired by her childhood and her memories as she uses her paintings to connect with her past self. By confronting the buried emotions in her subconscious mind, she produces art featuring multiple figures of herself, thereby evoking a sense of dream-like fantasy in her illustrations.
