Momo Kim (b. South Korea) received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and she has lived in New York for seven years and in Nha Trang for three years before she returned to Seoul to continue her artistic journey.

Kim’s art seeks to blur the boundaries between decorative art and modernism in contemporary art. She draws inspiration from mundane thoughts and incorporates them into her works. Her signature style features simplistic illustrations of her everyday life expressed through bright colours and bold lines. ‘Home sweet home’ explores self-identity and contemporary culture whilst presenting the physical space that Kim spends most of her time in as a part of her autobiography. Her unique philosophy and appreciation for life echoes through the repetition recorded in her art.
