Lio was born in Hong Kong and graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2016. As an artist, Lio's primary focus lies in the realms of drawing and painting. Her works predominantly uses ink, charcoal, and pastel to depict landscapes and narratives. Lio's creative process involves experimenting with ink and charcoal on various surfaces, such as canvas, brass, and copperplates. Through a deliberate interplay of destruction and creation, the artist achieves a distinct blurry effect and colour tone in her artwork, evoking a sense of tranquillity, serenity, and timelessness.
