Led by the legendary hip-hop and graffiti artist Syan ‘MC Yan’, Kowloon Kickassis an exhibition curated by Prof Kevin Tsui to shine light on the Kowloon Emperor, Tsang Tsou-choi. The late Kowloon Emperor was known for his iconic calligraphy seen all over the streets of Kowloon - the graffiti represented his rebellious spirit and they perpetually remained the emblem of the city’s local visual culture through derivative art.
