Meeson Pae (Korean-American) was born in Indiana and now resides in Los Angeles. After completing her Fine Art degrees at University of California, Los Angeles, her solo exhibition and projects have been shown at galleries and institutions worldwide.
Pae has dedicated her career to exploring the interconnection between the body, mythology, technology, and science through her artistic practice. Her working process involves a methodical collection of artefacts, images, and sounds for synthesis and hybrid formations. After research and experimenting with various elements, she expresses her eccentric artworks through different mediums, such as paintings, videos, and sculptures, thereby drawing connections and compressing the digital and physical, organic and synthetic, real and dream.
