Sandrine Lanoy (b. 1969, France) is a painter born and raised in Toulouse, southern France. After studying architecture, she moved to Paris to work in the fashion and design industry and continue her studies at the Beaux Art School and the Jean Sablé School of Decorative Painting in Versailles.

Lanoy uses portraits to study the interconnections between lines and surfaces, colours and lighting, and forms and content. She takes interest in exploring the limit between the real and the unreal as she transforms reality into paintings through colours and compositions.
