Rather than directly facing each other, artist Yoon Hyung-Taek (b. 1985, South Korea) cultivates a warm and comfortable sense of trust of the subjects’ silhouettes on the canvas. They sit next to each other without any purpose and they revisit their shared moments as if time has overlapped repeatedly. Through his illustrations, he captures the fragments of memories in our mundane lives and he paints a love letter for his cherished ones onto a canvas and into the world.
